Who We Are

**The Libbie Mill Social Committee Mission Statement**

Our mission is to foster a welcoming and inclusive community where neighbors come together to build strong relationships, ensure a safe and friendly environment, and create a comfortable place for all residents to call home. We are dedicated to organizing events, initiatives, and activities that promote camaraderie, mutual support, and a vibrant neighborhood spirit. Through our collective efforts, we aim to enhance the quality of life for everyone in our community.

The Social Committee is comprised of both Townhome and Condo owners. The Committee currently consists of Committee Chair Emma Ardolino (Townhome), Co-chair Diane Jain (Townhome), and Activity Coordinators Hina Shah (Condo), Sharon Green (Condo), Sharon Berry (Condo), and Beth Patterson (Townhome).

The Committee meets the third Monday of every month. 6 pm at the Clubhouse.

**All are welcome! We are always looking for new ideas and help in planning neighborhood activities.

The Committee currently hosts Book Club, Game Night, Happy Hour, and a Speaker Series, as well as a Meet & Greet, an annual Community BBQ and an annual Holiday Party.

Signature Events

We host a Meet & Greet in the Spring and the Fall, a BBQ in the early Summer, and a Holiday party in December. Please check your email and the website as these events are announced!

Book Club

Starting in 2025 we are aiming to host monthly. We will discuss an assigned book along with other books we’ve recently read. All book lovers welcome even if you have not read the book!

Game Night

Hosted on the third Thursday of each month, 7:00–8:30 p.m, at the Clubhouse. BYOB; light snacks are provided.

**Starting in January 2025 we are moving Game Night and BUNCO to THURSDAY**

We have been alternating months between BUNCO and a more traditional game night.

BUNCO- January, March, May, July, September and November
Regular Game Night- February, April, June, August, October

Speaker Series

The Social Committee kicked off our Mid-Day Chat Series with the Henrico Police Department on Monday May 20th. Neighbors gathered with their lunches as two officers spoke on safety and answered community questions. It was a wonderful day learning best safety practices for our neighborhood!
